Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board approve Joann Finney's Suspension Without Pay for ten (10) workdays effective September 7, 2006, through September 20, 2006.

Description:

During the 2005 school year at Royal Palm Beach High School, Joann Finney misused district funds and/or failed to properly control district funds and/or violated the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida and/or violated the Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession in Florida because she was responsible for the collection of parking fees at the Outback Bowl, a school sponsored event, and/or the Tsunami Hurricane Relief Fund, a school sponsored event, and she failed to properly collect and/or count and/or document the receipts for the aforesaid parking fees which totaled approximately $1,000.00.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the school district.
