Title: RE2- Adopt a Resolution Authorizing a Corrective Deed & Corrective Perpetual Easement/Florida D.O.T.

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board adopt a Resolution authorizing a Corrective Deed and Corrective Perpetual Easement; and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

• On March 12, 2003, the School Board approved the conveyance of ten (10) parcels and a perpetual easement, located on the Lake Worth High School campus, to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the State Road 9 (I-95) expansion.  (See Exhibit A)·

• An error was discovered within the legal description of 2 of the 10 parcels, which necessitates the Corrective Deed and Corrective Perpetual Easement.

• The School District is not conveying any new rights.
