Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve the award of an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Fees in the amount of $199,210.00 to W.G. Mills, Inc. for Description: Construction Management at Risk Services required for Preconstruction Phase Services including design review and recommendation to establish the Guaranteed Maximum Price for construction of a 122,966 GSF, 960 student station, K-5 elementary school. The new school shall be constructed to allow for the future addition of a 1,300 student capacity middle school facility. Construction of the elementary school will be in accordance with Educational Specifications approved by the Board April 19, 2006. Approved Budget for Construction: $17,800,000. Construction Type: TBD during Pre-Construction Phase No. of Stories: TBD during Pre-Construction Phase Gross Square Feet: 122,966 Budgeted Total Student Stations: 960 Budgeted Construction Cost/Student Station: $18,541. Preconstruction Phase Fee: $152,510.00 Reimbursable Expenses: $ 46,700.00 Total Preconstruction Phase Fee: $ 199,210.00 Ten (10) firms responded to the RFP and three (3) firms were shortlisted. The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows: 1. W.G. Mills, Inc. 2. Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. 3. The Morganti Group, Inc.
