Title: LR1 Adopt Annual Board Member Salaries Under Fla. Stat. §1001.395

Recommendation:
Board Chair: “As Chair of the Board, I recommend that the Board adopt the annual salary for its members, as required by Fla. Stat. §1001.395.  Consistent with the recommendation of the Florida School Boards Association, the members’ annual salary should be $40,887.  This salary will be in effect from November 21, 2006, through November 19, 2007, as required by law.”

Financial Impact:
Financial impact to the District General Fund operating budget is $11,578 including fringe benefits.
