Title: RE-5 Approve Interlocal Agreement/City of Boynton Beach

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and the School Board of Palm Beach County for the Mutual Use of Recreational Facilities; and authorizing the Chairman and the Superintendent to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

• On April 21, 2004, the School Board approved the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Boynton Beach and the School Board for the Mutual use of Recreational Facilities. (See Attached 2004 Interlocal Agreement).

• This Interlocal Agreement provides a change in language from “Recognized Sports Provider” to “Recognized Recreation Provider”, which will allow the city to offer summer camp programs on specific School campuses.

• This Interlocal Agreement will replace and supersede the April 21, 2004 Interlocal Agreement.
