Title: Recommendation: I recommend that the School Board approve an educational trip for Roosevelt Community Middle School Travel Club students to travel to Description: The group of 26 students (13 girls and 13 boys) will be chaperoned by four school board employees and 12 parents. The trip will provide the students an opportunity to experience the culture of two European Countries The purpose of the trip is: The cost of the trip is 1929.00 per participant, which includes all travel costs, accommodations and tour fees. The students are able to raise funds for the trip through donations. All eligible students will have the opportunity to participate regardless of economic hardship The benefits to the district include; · Broaden Student/teacher cultural, geological awareness. · Aspire an appreciation for other cultures.
