Title: PM4 Project Modifications for Bear Lakes Middle Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $21,424.89 for Bear Lakes Middle School, Class Size Reduction Project #1981-8950, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.
Description:
Bear Lakes Middle School – Class Size Reduction Project #1981-8950
This project modification contains the following item:
- CCD #2 in the amount of $21,424.89.
- Description: Remove debris, replace and reinstall the 12” CMU chiller walls and repair the wood security fence damaged during Hurricane Wilma.
- Cause: School District Requested.
- Justification: The School District chooses to carry Builders Risk insurance on this project. As a result, monies required to reconstruct walls due to damage from Hurricane Wilma are due to the Construction Manager.
Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $21,424.89
The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
