Title: Hashna Manorah-State Reading Challenge Winner

Description: Hashna Manorah, a sixth grade student at Roosevelt Middle School, read forty-nine books to be one of three  winners from across Florida in the "Summer Reading Book Challenge."  The challenge was the second part of the Shoot for the Stars: A Record Breaking Year for Middle Schools state initiative.  Each of the winners received $300 courtesy of Bealls Department Stores, a $25 gift card from Barnes and Noble and an Apple iPod.  2,655 students participated in the challenge and received a certificate recognizing their efforts in reading.
