Title: Red Ribbon Week

Alcohol, tobacco and other drug use continue to be a threat to the health and welfare of our youth. Each year, Red Ribbon Week provides us with an opportunity to renew our commitment to a healthy and drug-free lifestyle, and to show our dedication to education and prevention efforts in our schools and communities.

The Prevention Center in the Department of Safe Schools hosts many contests during Red Ribbon Week. This year the contest categories include posters, essays and music videos. The theme is  "Show Good Character By Being Drug-Free."  We recognize the Elementary, Middle and High School first place winners of these contests.
