Title: CP1 Amend the CM Agreement for Santaluces High Academy Classroom Addition

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve an Amendment to the Construction Management at Risk Agreement to establish the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction in the amount of $ 6,147,234.83. to Pavarini Construction Co. (SE), Inc. for Santaluces High School Academy, Project No. 1611-8228 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents.

Description:

Construction Management at Risk Services required for remodeling of existing facility space necessary to construct a 222 student station academy in accordance with the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on October 20, 2004.

 

Approved Budget for Construction: $5,320,520.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $6,147,234.83. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget. Additional funds in the amount of $877,334. will be derived from Project No. 9102-8228, Academies at Existing Schools. The District will provide Builder's Risk insurance for this phase of the project at a total cost of $45,489.
