Title: ADOPTION OF 2006-2007 ANNUAL AUDIT PLAN

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board adopt the 2006-2007 Annual Audit Plan.

Description:

·               The proposed 2006-2007 Annual Audit Plan was developed based on (1) input and assistance provided by staff and Audit Committee, (2) available resources, and (3) the risk assessment process.  A copy of the risk assessment process is maintained at the Board Minutes Office.

·               The plan was discussed and unanimously approved by the Audit Committee at its August 11, 2006, meeting. 

·               The proposed plan was presented to the School Board at the October 25, 2006, Joint meeting with the Audit Committee.
