Recommendation:

I recommend the Board authorize the expenditure of funds as its contribution toward the appellate costs associated with the District Cost Differential litigation.

Description:

• The above recommendation authorizes the expenditure of funds related to the engagement of the law firm of Holland and Knight to represent the District’s interest as an intervening party in the previously approved litigation.

Financial Impact:
`The financial impact to the District is $60,000 from the Legal Services budget.
