Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve the award of an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Service Fees in the amount of $66,337.87. to Hedrick Bros. Construction Company, Inc. for Crestwood Middle School Addition, Project No. 1691-8307 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents. Description: Construction Management @ Risk Services required for Preconstruction Phase Services including design review and recommendation to establish the Guaranteed Maximum Price for construction of a 54,269 gross square foot, 660 student station classroom addition in accordance with permitted design documents and the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on June 7, 2006. Estimated Budget for Construction: $9,830,783. Construction Type: TBD during Pre-Construction Phase No. of Stories: TBD during Pre-Construction Phase Gross Square Feet: 54,269 Total Student Stations: 660 Preconstruction Phase Service Fee: $59,437.87 Reimbursable Expenses: $6,300.00 Total Contract Award: $66,337.87 Four (4) firms responded to the RFP and three (3) firms were shortlisted.
