Title: CP7 Renewal of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Consultants on Continuing Contract

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the renewal of Continuing Contract Agreements for Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Design Services with Johnson, Levinson, Ragan, Davila, Inc., Tilden Lobnitz Cooper Engineering for Architecture, and S.G.M. Engineering, Inc. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents.

This renewal will be from December 15, 2006 through December 14, 2007 which will be the second year of a three year term contract.

Description:

Renewal of a Continuing Contract, for a period of one year from December 15, 2006 through December 14, 2007, which will be the second year of a three year term contract. Firms will provide Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Design Services to the School District for projects in which construction costs do not exceed $1,000,000. for study activities when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000; or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the District

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $200,000 total from the Capital Budget.  Expenditures will be allocated to each project budget.
