Title: CC10 Consultant Contract for Mr. Mike Raffone, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the Amendment and Consultant Contract with Mr. Mike Raffone, Inc. for $12,321.00, effective October 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

CC10 A The Consultant shall perform the following services: This is a request to amend the current contract between the School District of Palm Beach County and Mr. Mike Raffone, Inc.  from $22,500 to $34,000.  This is an increase of $11,500 ($1,500 for mileage and $10,000 for modules).  The reason for this request is that the consultant has been scheduled to provide additional modules in the Middle School After School Programs. 

The Palm Beach County Commissioners fund recreational consultants via the County Parks and Recreation Department to provide services in the Middle School After School Programs.  This funding may only be used to contract with Recreational Consultants approved by Parks and Recreation. 

CC10 B The Consultant shall perform the following services: Three DJ Dance holiday parties.  Each party will include 50 grab bags with additional grab bags available at $1.00 per bag.
