Title: CC3 Amendment for Dianne M. Morin, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the Amendment with Dianne M. Morin, Inc. for $37,000.00, effective October 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

CC3 The Consultant shall perform the following services: This is a request to amend the current contract between the School District of Palm Beach County and Dianne M. Morin, Inc., a recreational consultant for the Middle School After School Programs from $15,300 to $52,300.  This is an increase of $37,000 ($1,000 for mileage and $36,000 for modules).  The reason for this request is that the consultant has been scheduled to provide additional modules in the Middle School After School Programs.

The Palm Beach County Commissioners fund recreational consultants via the County Parks and Recreation Department to provide services in the Middle School After School Programs.  This funding may only be used to contract with Recreational Consultants approved by Parks and Recreation.

Authorized Amount this Request:  $37,000.00

Previously Authorized Amount Year-to-Date:  $21,275.00

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $58,275.00
