Title: CC7 Amendment for Russo Consulting Group, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the Amendment with Russo Consulting Group, Inc. for $9,000.00, effective October 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

CC7 The Consultant shall perform the following services: This is a request to amend the current contract between the School District of Palm Beach County and Russo Consulting Group, Inc., a recreational consultant for the Middle School After School Programs from $17,125 to $26,125.  This is an increase of $9,000 ($500 for mileage and $8,500 for modules).  The reason for this request is that the consultant has been scheduled to provide additional modules in the Middle School After School Programs.

The Palm Beach County Commissioners fund recreational consultants via the County Parks and Recreation Department to provide services in the Middle School After School Programs.  This funding may only be used to contract with Recreational Consultants approved by Parks and Recreation.

Authorized Amount this Request:  $9,000.00

Previously Authorized Amount Year-to-Date:  $20,725.00

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $29,725.00
