Title: CS1 First Amendment to Agreement Between the School Board of PB County and Gulfstream Goodwill Trans

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve the First Amendment to the Agreement between The School Board of Palm Beach County and Gulfstream Goodwill Transition Academy, and authorize the Superintendent or designee to sign all related contracts and documents.

Description:

The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida (“School Board”) and the Gulfstream Goodwill Transition Academy (“Charter School”) entered into an Agreement on April 21, 2005.

On October 26, 2006, the Governing Board of Gulfstream Transition Academy requested an amendment to change the school staff from private employees to public employees in order for the staff to participate in the Florida Retirement System.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District.
