Title: CS2 Second Amendment to Agreement Between the School Board of PB County and Gulfstream Goodwill Care

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve the Second Amendment to the Agreement between The School Board of Palm Beach County and Gulfstream Career Transition Academy, and authorize the Superintendent or designee to sign all related contracts and documents.

Description:

The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida (“School Board”) and the Gulfstream Goodwill Career Academy (“Charter School”) entered into an Agreement on April 22, 2004.

On October 26, 2006, the Governing Board of Gulfstream Career Academy requested an amendment to change the school staff from private employees to public employees in order for the staff to participate in the Florida Retirement System.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District.
