Title: PM2 Project Modifications for Boca Raton High Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $81,150.00 for Boca Raton Community High School, Stadium Project #0961‑8275, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.
Description: Boca Raton Community High School – Stadium Project #0961‑8275
This project modification contains the following item:
- Additional Architectural Services in the amount of $81,150.00
- Description: The additional services are as follows:
A. Redesign track for 9th lane 7,320
B. Concession building modifications 50,920
C. Larger press box 5,470
D. Synthetic turf 9,765
E. Master for future swimming pool 5,375
F. Relocate Retention Pond 1,500
G. Reimbursables 800
- Cause: School District Requested
- Justification: The School District was intending to purchase property adjacent to the school for additional athletic facilities; however, the School District was unable to come to an agreement with the property owner. It was decided to use the funds set aside for the purchase of this property on additional and/or enhanced athletic facilities at the school.
Financial Impact:
The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is $81,150.00.
The source of funds is Capital Contingency.
