Title: PM2 Project Modifications for John F. Kennedy Middle Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $384,226.68 for John F. Kennedy Middle School, Modernization Project #0201-7444, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.
Description: John F. Kennedy Middle School – Modernization Project #0201-7444
This project modification contains the following item:
- CCD #5 in the amount of $384,226.68.
- Description: Muck removal and replacement fill
- Cause: Unforeseen Conditions
- Justification: The GMP was based on the removal of 64,000 cy of muck. Excavation revealed that 88,848 cy of muck required removal.
Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $384,226.68.
The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
