Description:

• On July 26, 2006 the School Board approved an Interlocal Agreement between the School Board and the City of Delray Beach, permitting the purchase and construction of a soccer complex and joint use of the land and facilities at the Seacrest Campus.  Amendment No.2 was approved October 18, 2006. (See Attached Reports)

• The City would like to purchase an additional 1.18 acres to allow for the construction of a pressbox concession stand and a new sidewalk with ADA access to be located on the Soccer Complex. ( See Exhibit “A”)

• The purchase price for the 1.18 acres is $132,750.00 based on the value of $112,500 per acre as agreed to in the 2002 Interlocal Agreement that was Board approved on February 20, 2002.

Financial Impact:

There will be a positive impact of $132,750.00
