Title: P4 Interlocal Agreement for Reciprocity of Certification of Small and MWBE

Recommendation:
I recommend approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the School District of Palm Beach County, City of West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach County Government for the purpose of shared certification and authorizing the Chairman and Superintendent to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

- On February 6, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Interlocal Agreement with the School District of Palm Beach County.  (See attachment Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach County, the City of West Palm Beach and the School District of Palm Beach County.)

- This Interlocal Agreement will provide reciprocity of certification of Small and Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises.

- This Interlocal Agreement is designed to simplify the certification process, eliminate redundancy and reduce the volume of paperwork required of Small and Minority/Women-Owend Business Enterprises.
