Title: CC5 Amendment for Susan Knight

Recommendation:
I recommend an award of an Amendment to the Consultant contract with Susan Knight for $4,375.00 through June 30, 2007 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: Changes made to the Agreement are as follows:
This is a request to amend the current contract between the School District of Palm Beach County and Susan Knight from $25,937.50 to $30,312.50, an increase of $4,375.00.
The reason for the request is that due to the large number of schools that are participating in character education efforts, as required by law, the consultant must work more hours in the contract period.  She provides materials, presentations, writes the character education newsletters, helps coordinate the recognition programs, and chairs the District Character Education Committee.
