Title: Asthma Friendly Schools

Description: Ten elementary schools participated in the Asthma Friendly Schools Program in 2006, they include: Beacon Cove, Diamond View, Equestrian Trails, Gove, Grassy Waters, Hidden Oaks, J. C. Mitchell, Lighthouse, Pierce Hammock and Pine Grove.  With these 10 schools, 83 of our schools are recognized by the American Lung Association as "Asthma Friendly."  This program has been a cooperative effort of the schools, the American Lung Association, the Maintenance & Plant Operations Department and the Environmental Control Office.
