Description:

Today's presentation of the Academic/Business Plan is made to provide the Board Members with an "in process" update of the framework that has been developed for the plan as well as the strategic process being used to review and develop programs for the Superintendent's consideration for the 2007-2008 school year.

The goal of the finalized plan will be to provide a comprehensive plan of strategic, district-wide initiatives that will be monitored and reported through the use of a balanced scorecard beginning with the 2007-2008 school year.

Because of the size of the document, the DRAFT Academic/Business Plan will be available in the Board Minutes office for review prior to the Board presentation.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact of the final version of the A/B Plan will be dependent of the programs selected for recommendation to the Superintendent.  For today's presentation of the A/B Plan framework, there is no financial impact.
