Title: Recommendation: Based on satisfactory performance during the past contract period, it is recommended that the RFP for CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR), AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) AND FIRST AID TRAINING be renewed with A1A Training, H.E.L.P. Technologies and Life Safety Solutions for the period April 24, 2007 through April 23, 2009. Description: P2 Approve renewal for 04C-011B RFP for Cardiopulmonary ResuscitationCPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid Training · Request for Proposal No. 04C- 011B was awarded by Board action on April 21, 2004, to A1A Training, Advanced Technical & Educational Consultants, Inc., H.E.L.P. Technologies and Life Safety Solutions for three years from April 24, 2004 through April 23, 2007 with the option to renew for one additional two-year period. · The first option to renew is now being exercised for the period April 24, 2007 through April 23, 2009. · A1A Training, H.E.L.P. Technologies and Life Safety Solutions have agreed to honor terms, conditions and pricing of existing contract for the forthcoming contract period. Advanced Technical & Educational Consultants, Inc did not wish to renew their contract. · Services to be provided include training, certification and recertification of School District personnel for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid in compliance with the American Heart Association and/or the Red Cross.
