Title: AC4-SpringBoard Subscription Agreement Amendment 1 Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board approve the SpringBoard Subscription Agreement Amendment 1 for in the amount of $88,999, effective September 26, 2006 through June 30, 2008, and authorize the Superintendent or designee to sign all documents and contracts related to the grant which are required for implementation of grant activities.
Description:
- This Amendment allows for the expansion of the College Board’s SpringBoard Subscription to include 839 additional students at Forest Hill High School.
- The FY07 College Board SpringBoard Subscription Agreement was approved in May 2006, for 1,403 students at 19 middle and high schools. Subsequently, SpringBoard was expanded at Forest Hill High School to include additional students.
- The expansion was verbally agreed upon by the College Board. The reason this agenda item is retroactive is because the College Board did not send this expansion amendment for approval until months later.
- The impact of the program will be measured by the comparison of FY06 and FY07 FCAT scores.
Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Special Revenue-Other Funds Budget is a decrease of $88,999. There is no impact to the Operating Budget
