Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve June Hunt’s suspension without pay for five (5) workdays on March 29, 2007, March 30, 2007, and April 10, 2007 through April 12, 2007.

Description:

On or about October 26, 2006, June Hunt became the subject of a Professional Standards investigation based upon the allegation that you engaged in unprofessional or unethical conduct, inappropriate behavior and unnecessary physical force on a student in violation of the following:  The Code of Ethics and the Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession in Florida and The School District of Palm Beach County, School Board Policies 1.013 and 3.27.

Financial Impact:

 There is no financial impact to the school District.
