Title: Superintendent's Efficiency & Effectiveness Awards (SEEA)

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve SEEA suggestion #10017 with an award of $100.  This suggestion will be piloted to determine effectiveness.

Description: Consider approval of Superintendent's Efficiency & Effectiveness Award for Suggestion #10017 consistent with School Board Policy 2.63.  The suggestion, submitted by Robert Addicott, Instructional Technology Support Assistant at Osceola Creek Middle School, is to utilize the automated phone system to notify parents of over drafted school lunch accounts and past due charges on library books.  The SEEA Committee has recommended this suggestion be piloted to gauge effectiveness.  The various components of technology involved with this suggestion are believed to be in place (i.e. One Voice, WinSnap database, and SIRSI database).  

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the District's FY2007 General Fund Operating Budget is $100.  The source of funds is the SEEA reserve.
