Title: Substitute Pay

Recommendation:
I recommend the Board approve the increase of $2.00 per hour to the District's Subtitute Pay Schedule, effective August 15, 2007, as submitted.

Description: This hourly rate increase will better position the District to be competitive in the surrounding labor market for attracting and retaining Substitute Teachers.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the School District to fund a $2.00 per hour increase for Substitute Teachers is $1.4 million.
