Title: PM5 Boca Raton Community MS Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications for the addition of one hundred seventy-four (174) non-compensable calendar days for Phase 1A/1B and three hundred five (305) non-compensable calendar days for Phase 2 of the Boca Raton Community Middle School CM@Risk Project #1491-8379 and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following items:

• COPR #1 for the addition of  one hundred seventy-four (174) non-compensable calendar days for Phase 1A/1B substantial completion and an additional one hundred seventy-three (173) non-compensable calendar days for final completion.  It also includes three hundred five (305) non-compensable calendar days for Phase 2 completion.
• Description:  Extend the Phase 1A and 1B project schedule by one hundred seventy-four (174) days.   Revise the Phase 1A and 1B substantial completion date from July 19, 2006 to January 9, 2007.  Extend the Phase 2 project schedule by three hundred five (305) days.  Revise the Phase 2 substantial completion date until April 30, 2008.
• Cause:  Unforeseen Conditions
• Justification:  The storms, vandalism and other contributing factors resulted in concurrent delays to the critical path of the project schedule.

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $0.00
