Title: RE1- “Old” Cypress Hammock/Permanent Easement

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve an easement between the City of Pahokee and the School District of Palm Beach County; located at northeast corner of the “Old” Cypress Hammock School Site; and authorize the Chairman and the Superintendent to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

• The City of Pahokee is requesting the School Board grant an easement for 0.02  acres to allow for a sewer lift station to be located at the northeast corner of the “Old” Cypress Hammock school site. (See Exhibit “A”)

• The appraised value for the portion of the property is $1,000.

• The upgraded sewer system will improve utility services to the school site and the community.

• The City will be responsible for a 100% of the sewer system installation and maintenance costs.
