Title: P4 Approve the RFP 07C-004D for Touch Screen Computers and Peripherals

Recommendation:

I recommend contract awards be made to Tek Vision, Inc., a responsive, responsible proposer, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP.

Description:

P4   Approve the RFP 07C-004D for Touch Screen Computers

        and Peripherals to be used as cash registers in school

        cafeterias.

·        Services to be provided are Touch Screen computers and peripherals to include warranties and repair.

·        The Evaluation Committee, consisting of District staff, convened and reviewed all responsive proposals.  It is the recommendation of the committee to award the contract to Tek Vision, Inc. having received the highest score.

·        The term of the contract shall be from July 19, 2007 through July 18, 2010, and may, by mutual agreement be renewable for one additional two year period.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to School Food Service is estimated at $750,000.00 for the three year term.  The source of funds is the School Food Services Budget.
