Title: CC4 Consultant Contract for Florida Atlantic University/Board of Trustees

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract with Florida Atlantic University/Board of Trustees is estimated at $72,503.10 effective August 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC4 The Consultant shall perform the following services: Provide proper training for approximately 45 teachers in the Reading Recovery teacher training program in the Department of Elementary Education/Title I.  The purpose of the SPONSORED Early Literacy Program in Reading Recovery is to provide information to elementary school teachers to update their skills and develop new expertise within their areas of responsibility.

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $294,141.10
