Title: CS1-Amendment to Charter Agreement for Everglades Preparatory Academy Charter School

Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board approve the Amendment to extend Everglades Preparatory Academy's  current contract to August 30, 2007.

Description:

Everglades Preparatory Academy's Charter Agreement ends June 30, 2007.  The the renewal application was approved by the School Board on June 27, 2007.

Contract negotiations have commenced and the extension is needed to effectively secure a mutually beneficial and legally binding contract.

The Governing Board has signed the Amendment to extend the current "Contract" until August 30, 2007 (see Exhibit "A").

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District.
