Title: CS2-Amendment to Charter Agreement for Delray Youth Vocational Charter School

Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board approve the Amendment to extend Delray Youth Vocational's current contract to August 14, 2007.

Description:

Delray Youth Vocational's Charter Agreement ends June 30, 2007.  The renewal application was approved by the School Board on May 16, 2007.

Contract negotiations have commenced and the extension is needed to effectively secure a mutually beneficial and legally binding contract.

The Governing Board has signed the Amendment to extend the current "Contract" until August 14, 2007 (see Exhibit "A").

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District.
