Title: PM1 Coral Reef ES Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $22,000.00  to Suffolk Construction for Coral Reef Elementary School, Class Size Reduction Project #2581-8950, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • COPR #1 in the amount of $22,000.00
  • Description:  Provide and install new two (2) inch conduit, cabling and intercom connections from Room 3-191 to the intercom system pull-box in Building #1.
  • Cause:  School District Requested
  • Justification:  There is interference in the intercom system that is a result of the intercom wire being installed in existing conduit with existing lines. Original construction documents showed this installation. The new conduit and wire will eliminate the interference. 

Financial Impact:

The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is $22,000.00

 

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
