Title: PM4 Elbridge Gale Project Modifications and Final

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications for the addition of two hundred one (201) non-compensable calendar days to Pirtle Construction, and approve Final Payment and ratify Final Acceptance for Elbridge Gale Elementary School (02-U), Design/Build Project #3361-8298, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

Item #1

§        CCD #2 for the addition of two hundred one (201) non-compensable calendar days

§        Description: Extend the Substantial Completion date from May 15, 2006 to December 2, 2006.

§        Cause: Unforeseen Conditions

§        Justification:  Due to Unforeseen Conditions which delayed the project.

Item #2

Description: The Project Architect has certified that Elbridge Gale Elementary School, under contract with Pirtle Construction, achieved Final Completion.

 

The General Contractor has requested and the Architect and Staff have recommended Final Payment and Final Acceptance.

 

• Punchlist complete.
• Certificate of Completion was obtained.
• Closeout documents were received.
• Errors and Omissions did not exceed 1%
• Final M/WBE Participation Achieved is 23.97%.
