Title: Ashley Brasovan-3,200-Meter Run State Champion

Description: Ashley Brasovan, a rising junior at Wellington High School, won the Class 4A state high school track and field 3,200-meter run.  Her winning time of 10 minutes, 13.45 seconds shattered the state meet record by almost 18 seconds.  Sports reporters across the state are calling it an historical moment in high school track. Last fall Ashley also won the Class 4A girls cross-country championship.
