Title: Larry Padgett-National Technology Award Winner

Description: Larry Padgett, Director of Information Technology Operations, was one of 10 individuals from across the country to receive this year's GCN IT Leadership Award.  The GCN (Government Computer News) IT Leadership Awards recognize government career workers whose exemplary record of performance and leadership has resulted in extraordinary accomplishments involving information technology in the service of government.  These award winners also inspired others to reach higher in their performance. Mr. Padgett's 20 year career with the School District has taken him through a series of technology assignments: task and team leader, technology coordinator, manager, director of network services, director of network and technical services and director of IT - Operations.
