Title: CC1 Amendment to Consultant Contract for Metaformers, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of Amendment to Consultant Contract with Metaformers, Inc. for continued support services in an amount not to exceed $78,800 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

CC 1 Changes made to the Agreement are as follows:

Document, configure, test and implement into production a solution termed "bridge pay" to pay teachers a one time payment between the end of the 2006-2007 school year and beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.  This will eliminate the 4 week lag between pay for the teachers due to the change in the start of school calendar.

Extend support in PeopleSoft for payroll for a maximum number of hours to be increased by 280 which will be performed by Bill Baumgarten. 

Metaformer's Inc. has successfully implemented into production the new teacher pay process for next year which will replace contract pay.

Other deliverables are on schedule.  As indicated in the attached Statement of Work, there are two deliverables which will be delayed by one week each as a result of this additional work.  This delay will not negatively impact the District.

Not to exceed $78,800.

Financial Impact:
The Financial Impact to the ERP project is not to exceed $78,800 and will come out of the ERP Capital Budget.
