Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve an Amendment to the Construction Management at Risk Agreement to establish the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction in the amount of $11,488,722.42 to The Weitz Company, LLC, for Wellington High School Auditorium, Project No: 2191-8272 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents. Description: Construction Management @ Risk Services required for construction of an approximately 14,895 GSF Auditorium in accordance with the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on February 2, 2002. Estimated Construction Budget: $10,778,502. (Five Year Capital Plan) Number of Stories: Two Construction Type: Tilt-Wall Gross Square Feet: 21,155 Budgeted Total Construction Cost per Total Actual Construction Cost per Gross Square Foot: $545. Building Only Cost per Student Stations: NA Budgeted Total Construction Cost per Student Station: NA Total Actual Construction Cost per Student Station: NA Building Only Cost per Student Station (Div. 3-16): NA Preconstruction Fee: $40,300.00 GMP: $11,488,722.42 Total Cost of Construction: $11,529,022.42 Building Only Cost (Div. 3-16): $8,267,751. Financial Impact: The financial impact is a commitment of $11,573,739.42 which includes the GMP of $11,488,722.42 and $85,017. for the District provided Builder’s Risk Insurance.
