Title: CC 1 Consultant Contract for Florida Atlantic University

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the Consultant Contract with Florida Atlantic University, for $60,000, effective August 23, 2007 through May 23, 2008 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC 1 The Consultant shall perform the following services: Teach dual enrollment courses: teach 2 sections of Calculus 3 (MAC2312) across two nine weeks (first semester); teach 2 sections of Calculus 3 (MAC2313) across two nine weeks (second semester); teach 1 section of Differential Equations (MAP2302) across two nine weeks; and 1 section of Matrix Theory (MAS2103) across two nine weeks.

Authorized Amount this Request: $60,000.00

Previously Authorized Amount Year-to-Date: $294,141,10

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $354,141.10
