Title: An Interlocal Agreement between the School Board of Palm Beach County and the Town of Palm Beach for

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the Interlocal Agreement between the  School Board of Palm Beach County and the Town of Palm Beach for the Installation and Maintenance of Palm Trees and Landscape Screening at Palm Beach Public School.

Description:

·      The Town of Palm Beach has requested permission to install palm trees and landscape screening at Palm Beach Public Elementary School.

·         The Town of Palm Beach will fund, construct and maintain the proposed landscape improvements on School Board’s property.

·        The Town of Palm Beach plans to install landscaping on September 13, 2007 with an alternate date of September 28, 2007.

·         The Town of Palm Beach shall repair and restore to pre-planting condition any damage caused to the School Board’s property resulting from the Town’s planting of palm tress and landscape material.

Financial Impact:
The total capital cost for plants and landscape material acquisition and installation along with their continuous maintenance cost shall be paid by the Town of Palm Beach.
