Title: Construction Management at Risk Agreement for Boynton HS Academy

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Fee in the amount of $50,134. to Pavarini Construction Company and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Pre-Construction fees for Boynton Beach High School Academy, Project No. 2361-8228.

Approved Construction Budget: $5,050,350.

Minority Participation: 15%

Gross Square Feet: 29,000

Student Stations: 129

Six (6) firms responded to the RFP of which three (3) were shortlisted.  The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows:

(1)Pavarini Construction Company

(2)Kaufmanlynn, Inc. General Contractors

(3)C.R. Klewin Southeast, Inc.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $50,134.  The source of funds is the project budget.
