Title: An Interlocal Agreement between Palm Beach County and the School Board of Palm Beach County for Recr

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the Interlocal Agreement between Palm Beach County and the School Board of Palm Beach County for funding of Recreation Field Improvements for Palm Beach Lakes High School.

Description:

This Agreement is a substitute agreement to replace lapsed agreement

The School Board previously entered into an Agreement with the County for funding to purchase and install Visitors bleachers as Recreation Field Improvements.

The project completion date was February 18,2005, however the School Board did not complete the project on schedule and therefore requested a replacement agreement.

The County will pay to the School Board a total amount not to exceed $30,000 for the pruchase and installation of bleachers at the School.

The School Board shall complete the project within eighteen (18) months from the date of execution of the Agreement.

The School District shall be responsible for the perpetual maintenance of the improvements following installation.

Financial Impact:
The $30,000 will be funded through Capital Contingency with reimbursement from Palm Beach County.
