Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Fee in the amount of $45,916. to Pavarini Construction Company and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Pre-Construction fees for Santaluces High School Academy, Project No. 1611-8228.

Description:

Construction Management at Risk Services required for development of completed design documents necessary for construction of a 29,000 GSF facility to accommodate academy program modifications.

Approved Construction Budget:$4,558,750.

Minority Participation: 15%

Construction Type: Tilt-Wall

Gross Square Feet: 29,000

Student Stations: 222

Six (6) firms responded to the RFP of which three (3) were shortlisted.  The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows: 

(1) Pavarini Construction Company

(2) Kaufmanlynn, Inc. General Contractors

(3) C.R. Klewin Southeast, Inc.
