Title: Tentative Approval of Attendance Boundary Change--Atlantic High School

Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board provide tentative approval for the attendance boundary modification of SAC 284 for Atlantic and Spanish River high schools.

Description:

· The purpose of this recommendation is to clarify an issue regarding a boundary change notice published in February 2005.  No current students are affected by this revision.

· In March 2005, the School Board approved a boundary changes for an area north of Atlantic Blvd. from Atlantic High School to Spanish River High School.  The legal notice for the change described the eastern boundary line as "the centerline of El Clair Ranch Road, extended."   Appropriate notice of the correct description has been made.
