Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $9,000.00 for Lake Worth Middle School, Classroom Addition Project #2131-8307, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents. Description: This project modification contains the following item: § CCD #2 in the amount of $9,000.00 § Description: Civil engineering services involving permitting and coordination efforts with Outside Agency for on-site fire and potable water connections to existing utility, as well as modification and approval of the existing environmental resource permit. § Cause: Design Omission – Discovered during the permitting process. § Justification: Existing on-site utility is owned by Outside Agency. § Construction costs are estimated to be approximately $100,000.00.
